My Story
Over the last decade, I've worked with hundreds of clients, from recent college graduates to multimillionaires and nonprofits. I've worked at large firms like Merrill Lynch and Ameriprise, and now I own Plentiful Wealth.
Some firms treat clients like a number. I've been there, at one time I was working with 200+ clients, which is entirely too many.
I learned a lot from the big firms, specially I was able to define the firm that I wanted to build.
I saw a disconnect between investments and financial planning, rather than a seamless integration. At the foundation, all financial planning has tax implications, so tax planning has to be an integral part of the process.
Plentiful Wealth was built to provide both investment management and tax planning in an integrated manner that feels effortless to the client.
Choosing a better mutual fund is nearly impossible, but tax savings through integrating more tax-efficient retirement withdrawal strategies are very possible.
Our level of planning is deeper than the typical approaches, which means we spend more time analyzing each client's situation. Due to this, we have capped the number of clients we accept. It's important that we have the bandwidth to effectively serve our clients without overextending.
We don't work with everyone either. We only work with clients when we believe that we can provide real value.
Our typical clients are retirees who have saved well and are concerned about taxes in retirement. Many of our clients have worked with other advisors in the past, before deciding to find an advisor with a strong tax background, who focuses on tax planning as a part of the retirement planning process.
